Maar de stijgende niveaus van CO\u2082 in de lucht veranderen ons klimaat. Dit, samen met veranderingen in het waterpeil, brengt de veengebieden in gevaar. \u00a0Toch ligt er onder de oppervlakte een oplossing.<\/p>\n<p>Planten en bomen nemen CO\u2082 op door middel van fotosynthese, een proces dat op natuurlijke wijze gedurende miljoenen jaren plaatsvindt. We bereiken een effici\u00ebntie tot 90%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duurzaam: <\/strong><br \/>We helpen om overtollige koolstofdioxide uit de lucht permanent op te slaan als biomassa in de veengebieden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kosten-concurrerend: <\/strong><br \/>Onze koolstofverwijderingskredieten zullen tegen 2030 minder dan $ 100 per ton CO\u2082 kosten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schaalbaar: <\/strong><br \/>De enorme oppervlakte van veengebieden biedt de mogelijkheid om gigatons CO\u2082 van plantenresten op te slaan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Herstellend: <\/strong><br \/>Onze oplossing vermindert bodemdaling en verhoogd de draagkracht sterker, wat ten goede kan komen aan landgebruik, zoals landbouw of infrastructuur.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additioneel: <\/strong><br \/>De koolstof die we verwijderen is 100% extra, wat betekent dat de CO\u2082-reductie niet zou hebben plaatsgevonden zonder onze oplossing.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\t\tEen gepatenteerde methode:\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>Onze oplossing is een innovatieve, gepatenteerde methode.<\/p>\n\t<p>1. Planten nemen CO\u2082 op uit de lucht;<br \/>2. In de inactieve laag in veengronden vergaan de plantenresten niet;<br \/>3. Het plantaardig materiaal hoopt zich op en vormt uiteindelijk een compacte massa die bekend staat als veen;<br \/>4.
